Extreme
heat, humidity and fluctuating climatic conditions can shorten
the life of a ceiling system. USG's specially formulated Climaplus
ceiling panels resist high heat and humidity without visible sag
and are available in a range of performance options up to 100%
relative humidity and up to 40oC.
a. Normal environments (max 25 ± 2°C / 65 ± 5% RH)
For applications in extreme environmental conditions such as exterior soffits, parking garages or swimming pools, products with 100% RH/40oC are recommended. Install with Donn brand DX hot dipped galvanised corrosion resistant grid. For applications with intermittent heating and cooling systems, uncontrolled environmental conditions, natural ventilation systems or in humid areas such as washrooms, kitchens or wet process areas, products with 95%RH / 40oC or better are recommended. For applications with normal controlled environmental conditions, products with 70% RH/ 29oC or better are suitable. |
